The machine, from assembly to both formats

Warm-grey painted MDF; aluminium partsA three-position selector drives the lighting: red safelight channel, off, UV channel. The two never light together — the red light lets you prepare and position the negative without fogging the sensitised coat.
The machine doesn't count time for you: it lights, you decide when to stop. Since its output varies with neither the hour nor the season, a watch is enough to repeat exactly the same exposure from one print to the next. The Wi-Fi module, sold separately, takes over that counting: driven from the Calibration Flow app, it switches the UV channel off at the chosen time.

What is a Luminograph?
A UV exposure unit for contact printing in alternative photography, including cyanotype. Place the negative against sensitised paper, hold them with the press, then expose under the UV light.
A4 or A3+: which should I choose?
Choose for the largest print you want to make: up to 21 × 29.7 cm on A4, and 32 × 48 cm on A3+. Both use the same LED density at the same distance from the glass, so exposure times are the same.
Does it include a timer?
No. The built-in selector controls the red safelight, off and UV light. Time your exposure with a watch, or add the optional Wi-Fi module, controlled from Calibration Flow, to switch off the UV at your chosen time.
Can I still print in sunlight?
Yes. Luminograph lets you work indoors, without waiting for the weather. Exposure time still depends on your process, paper and negative: make a test strip to find your starting point.
Where is it made, and what is the warranty?
Luminograph is designed and manufactured in France, with a two-year warranty.
Contact printing, in practice
The negative controls how much UV light reaches the sensitised paper. The Luminograph LED source emits at 395–400 nm. Exposure time depends on the process and the negative; a test strip helps you choose it.
Contact printing uses a negative the same size as the final image. The mechanical press keeps it against the paper during exposure. The Luminograph is an exposure unit: it does not enlarge the negative.
